I am going to be taking the Louisiana State Licensing Board exam for Commercial Electrical Contractor soon. I am looking for exam prep books to study with. Louisiana's test is based on the 1993 NEC. I called and spoke with Ilene this AM and she suggested I come here for help in finding Exam prep books that are geared towards the 93 NEC. If anyone has any books or info on how I can get my hands on some quickly it would be greatly appreciated. E-mail b_white_0913@bellsouth.net THANKS!

Please tell me your kidding, the 1993 NEC? I thought Michigan was slow in adopting updated code books as we just this year (2004) adopted the 2002 NEC.

No joke at all. They are looking into adopting I the 2007 NEC so I guess til then it's the stone age for us. It's only the state though not the inspectors. We do actually use AFCI etc. LOL
