Louisiana Exam

I have received my approval letter for the Louisiana Electrical Contractor exam, and to my surprise, the exam is on the 1993 NEC. I have taken exams from the 1996-2005 NEC, but I have no idea where my 1993 NEC may be. Does anyone know where I can purchase a 1993 NEC? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to contact any other electricians and/or ECs who've recently taken the LA test. So far as I've been able to determine, that's the version they use, and the version they have used for quite a few years.

I took the LA contractors exam in Baton Rouge in July 07, it was the 93 code and they provided the code book for the exam.

Thanks for the information, I have ordered the 1993 code book from the NFPA. Even though LA provides a code book for the exam, I want to be familiar with the sections. How difficult was the exam for you when you took it in July? I am scheduled to take the exam in Baton Rouge on January 8.

I found a couple on e-bay a while back, but did not order one. Probably should have, though. I may actually still have one in a box somewhere. I think that's the edition I had a long time ago and never really used. If I can find it, after I take the test, I'll offer it up here for any takers.
