low peak/current limiting fuses

is there a difference between low peak fuses and current limiting fuses and if so what would that be? i thought they were one in the same. i understand that current limiting fuses will clear a short in 1/2 cycle making it a very fast fuse in short circuit applications, what is the application lf a low peak fuse?

we had the coopeer/bussman rep. at the plant today and he confirmed what you just said. low peak is specific to bussman fuses.
