Low profile fluorescent high bay fixtures. I looked at a job today that I think these would be perfect for given the lack of room and the amount of light needed.
This is the situation. Distribution center. Narrow aisles ( 9 ft). with racks all the way to the bar joist, 20 ft.. Dark floors, Dark ceilings and dark walls. They really need some refective surfaces ( no one listens to electricians ). The have employees trying to gather orders in this dungeon. Everyone going blind so the need more lighting. At present they have 32 ea. 8 ft. fluorescent fixtures located in the center of the racks in most cases to light about 10K SQ. FT. ( this is just a small area of the overall structure).
Has anyone used these fixtures for aisle lighting. Any information appreciated.
Suggested spacing, suggested pricing ( I looked at lithonia and it's the cheapest I have found ). customer response ( were they happy not needing a seeing eye dog ).
