Hello, I need to clairify something. One of our employees ran low voltage (Two 6 pair IW's) plenum wire above a suspended ceiling in a small private school addition (new construction). The electrical inspector failed the inspection due to our wire - it is run over the heat ducts but it is lying on top of them and lying on top of the ceiling tiles. I need to have this IW attached, but I can't get an answer as to what I will be allowed to attach it to. The alarm wires are attached to electrician-placed support wires that look like ceiling supports. The alarm folks placed and spray-painted these particular supports red to distinguish them from the regular ceining supports. Can I attach to these, or do I need a completely separate ring-run to support our IW to the jacks. Can you rescue me asap? The sub is getting impatient. THANK YOU!!!
