Are there electronic ballasts that make more sense for lighting manufacturers when making a low voltage luminaire, or are iron core transformers usually superior? I am confused because the dimmers for capacitive loads seem like they would be for fluorescents with electronic ballasts, but wasn't sure if they also did transforming down for low voltage.
