can any recomend a couple of good brands to use for Low voltage landsacpe lighting? I llooked at Kichlar but do not know much about there landscape lighting

I have a customer who like to install some lights in the back yard to light up some of the tree's during parties .

Thanks.

Vista and and Kim are very good low voltage lights but they are pretty expensive. Kichler would be okay but are on the middle or low end of the spectrum. (IMO)

I think the Home owner would be ok with spending money for good quality lights rather than High dollar low quality lights I think she wants to spend around $30.00 to $40.00 per fixture not including transformer or wire just the fixtures

$30-$40 a fixture is pretty low end. I spent $300/ fixture for the Kim Lights

I would not endorse a fixture in that price range. Quality lights are more expensive

I'd also consider that you'll likely get a lot more light per dollar with line-voltage lighting.

I also like Kim.

But do yourself and everyone else a favor and lube these fasteners.

A high quality fixture with a decent lamp could go a few years without relamping.

I hate servicing landscape lighting!(where are the screws for this thing?)

The best lighting I've ever installed for LV landscape. Bronze and stainless steel.

Also look at Aurora Lighting, Focus, or FX Luminaire. High dollar though, I just ordered 19 fixtures and 3 transformers + some accessories and it came out to just about $5000, my cost.
