low voltage public address wiring

If I am running low voltage [30 volts or less] Public Address/music wiring in 3/4" PVC outside in the woods
to a pole does it need to bein the ground and if so what depth.
 
You can do anything you want, the NEC doesn't apply to it if that's what you are asking. If it were me though I would bury it deep enough so that it won't be damaged. Through the woods I would want to go at least 12" deep if it will be undisturbed. Depends on if there will be any activity in the area where it is buried.
