Would the NEC permit the installation of a "Waterproof Voltage Transformer" in a typical 12 X 16 underground pull box? I am looking at the relevant NEC sections 411, 450, 725 . This would be to run some 12VAC LED path lights in a outdoor wet location.
The supply is 120V (GFCI protected at the breaker).
Wiring method is typical PVC conduit with THWN-2/THHN for both the class 2 12VAC and the 120V.
An example "Waterproof Voltage Transformer" would be

Typical underground pull box example:

Anything advertised as "direct burial landscape lighting transformer" seems quite expensive.
Thanks in advance!
