Recently I was reading in the international mechanical code2003 and I read a section thatall fiel and control wiring must meet the N E C/nfpa70 code But my ? is the following . If a Mech. Cont. installs the T-stat wire and does splices with no j- boxes just wirenut and tape will it meet the NEC code.
