Does code require low voltage wiring (fire alarm, security, nurse call, paging, etc) to be installed inside conduits? I would say no from NEC standpoint but want to make sure... Thank you!

Depends on the actual application, physical location, NEC, and local codes. IIRC, there are some classified locations where everything has to be in pipe, and I don't recall there are any exceptions. Can you be more specific?
