Low voltage wiring that is going through 1-2hour rated walls conduit?

My understanding of low voltage wiring such as Data (Cat6),TV (coax),and security camera can be run exposed by J-hooks or in cable trays/snake trays. What are requirements if they have to pass through a fire rated wall? I know they use EZ-path boxes through fire walls to run cables through as an option. Are low voltage cables required to fully be in conduits when passing a fire rated wall. When are low voltage cabling required to be in conduits? (Assume low voltage cabling in interior commercial building locations only)

The way we always did it was to insert a length of EMT through the wall, pass the cable(s) through the EMT, and apply fire caulk in (not just on) the hole around the EMT and in the ends of the EMT.

If theres already a system going threw the wall just use the appropriate fire caulk, puddy or pillows for the system in place! To answer your question, to pass through walls, always consider future Upgrades. If the customer calls for 1 inch penetrations through walls maybe throw in 2 inch OR larger and ask the customer about "Future" upgrades! And you have to take into acct, is it residential, commercial, hospitality or a Federal/Government facility! Good luck and God Bless!!!!
