Lowest Height of Ceiling Light Fixture??

I have looked in Art 411 and I can't find where it covers what the lowest height you can install a light fixture. I'm talking specifically about a mushroom type fixture in a dropped(Soffit)hallway. I was always under the impression it was 7 feet. Any help is appreciated.

The building code has a minimum ceiling height of 7 feet. Seems to me your fixture would have to be mighty slim to meet your standard.

Earl here it`s all about the NEC,there is nothing to not allow it below that height.In closets,near pools,in hallways yes it is an article but I can`t find a general usage article that states a min. height.Only required locations and switching of it.Or exceptions too.
