Sir,

Is it approved to directly connect a Liquid-Tight
Flxible Metal Conduit at the end of a given conduit, say EMT,PVC,RSC or IMC with an approved fitting or through an intermediary juction box first?The lenght of the flexible is around .5 meter( 20 inches).

It would be approved by my jurisdiction to make a direct transition between two raceway types. Just make sure you have an appropriate egc if the raceway you are connected to is serving as the egc means.

As I sidenote, I would never use LTFMC under any circumstances. I have seen several cases where the internal metal spiral was completely destroyed by corrosion.
