There seems to be a million different lugs for sale but none of them tell you which crimper is UL listed for it. Does anyone know of a crimper that can be used on a large variety of lugs and is easy to work with? I really am not looking for a crimper that is so large it is difficult to use. The crimping range I am looking for is 4 to 4/0.

Correct, at least a million. If you have a tool from Panduit or T&B they want you use their lugs. I would suggest a tool from Greenlee as they don’t make lugs and will have a compatibly chart. My shop had a greenlee battery crimper but the batteries could no longer be sourced, we switched to Milwaukee. The Milwaukee battery crimper is great but different dies to keep track of
I started out with a T&B TBM5 that went to 4/0 al, 4/0 was a tough squeeze!
It will be interesting to see the answers
Also where do you source your lugs, that may determine which tool,

Loved the T&B TBM5 Crimper. Donated them to the place that I retired from. My dad purchased them back in the 1960's. As of a few years ago they were still selling them but since ABB purchased T&B hope they do not run the best in class T&B brand crimps & sta kons.
