Lutron CL dimmers

Has any one had any experience with Lutron C L dimmers? Made for LEDs and CFLs. Comes Diva, Ariadne, Skylark, Maestro, and Lumea styles. The supply house here is selling 15 watt Sylvania LED 5 BR30s and say they work well with these dimmers (~$42.00). They look just like a standard BR30 lamp. They are not on the Lutron lamp list for this dimmer.

There is a bit of magic, or is it science, to the dimming of LEDs. If the light has not been tested with the dimmer, and if the results are not published by one or both of the manufacturers, then I would not put them together. In your case, if it is the Lutron dimmer that you already have, then I would not buy the LEDs without first making contact with a local Lutron representative.

Lutron is the best for dimmers so I would trust this product and any other product that they come out with.
