Small homeowner issue today, bad Lutron slider DV-600P.
Installed a Lutron DVCL-153P-WH.
The low-end adjuster is crap, makes LED's flicker on the low end.

It's most likely not a bad dimmer. It's most likely the LED isn't compatible with the dimmer. I use this dimmer all the time and it works well if the correct LED bulbs are used. Granted, hardly any LED bulb will act exactly like an incandescent but shouldn't flicker. With that said, if there is not enough load on the dimmer from the LED it will cause flicker. Lutron sells a small load capacitor called MLC. You add this to the hot neutral for the light and it adds a small load to allow the dimmer to function properly.

The 600P went almost to zero light, no flicker.

7 par30's, 700 lumen each. Should be plenty load, but maybe not enough load on the low side? I thought goal was to save energy? ;)
