Yesterday a foreman told be we can't bend M C more than 360 degrees.I looked at him funny and asked him where he found this code.He says it was in an illustration in his handbook.I went and got my code book out of truck and handed it to him.We could not find anything other than the radius rule.Is this in the handbook ? and if so i believe its not code but just an interpretation

Re: M C bending

Jim I think you nailed it, the illustration is for flexible metal conduit not MC cable.

The foreman is wrong.

Re: M C bending

Any electrician worth a plug nickel knows that the 360 bend rule only applies to AC and UF cables, not MC. Sheeeesh.
