dropped the dime on one of these today....
if you've got a lot of pvc to run, it's pretty
fast.... signed a contract yesterday, so now
i have a bunch of pvc to run.

does anyone know a source for jetline, the
dental floss type stuff that has a sponge on
one end, and you blow it thru pipe....
usually comes in 150' and 300' lengths,
and 1/2" and 3/4" sizes......

ever blow string in conduits in a slab with these?
two guys can blow about one a minute..
tie pull string onto one, blow it thru the
pipe, while the other guy is pulling in
the string, tie a second string on....
they go 100' in about a second or two...

I use a standard shop vac and pull the string in with the vacuum side. That keeps you from blowing dirty water everywhere.

Lol. Ever try blowing strings in with one of these with a compressor.
Not that particular make, but yes. Actually prefer this method because you blow in the actuall pull string (or rope). Big time saver compared to the jetline method...

While I don't discount the entertainment value, take appropriate precautions when blowing towards in-place gear.

let us not forget that a 5" possum cannon is a muzzleloader.
and loading a possum bast ackwards destroys the accuracy.
now, you have the end with the teeth to deal with.

If you load it from the bore, the shot may walk in by itself, and you don't need to find a really long packing rod to push it in. The shot is not as likely to walk backwards if loaded from the muzzle.
