i will be moving to MA at some point. Am wondering if a FL journeyman lic. is valid in MA.. or would i have to retake the exam? thanx

MA does not reciprocate with FL.

Florida-Alabama-Arkansas-New Hampshire-Ma, not sure that really works though.lol It would be cheaper to test.

It is easier to get your NH lic. then get recipicosity to MA with NH lic. I was planning on moving to ME so the esiest for me was NH to ME without test. It will probably cost approx. $200 each state with the paperwork.

You should check with the state licensing board at your destination before you make any plans.
Some jurisdictions do not accept a reciprocal as a basis for issuing a license in their state.
For instance, Florida is reciprocal with Alabama and Alabama is reciprocal with Mississippi but if I got a reciprocal with Alabama based on my Florida license, this does not qualify me for a Mississippi license without testing.
