Machine Shop Equipment Connections

I remember a requirement from a past machine shop project that all permanently installed equipment must be fed with rigid connections, no S.O. chord drops. I believe it was an OSHA requirement. Does anyone know the specific code or standard regarding this issue.

I am not aware of that requirement, as long as art. 400 is followed.
