Suggests an easier way to get to the Funeral Parlor!

He needs a larger TV. That one would be a little hard to see from the tub. :D

Looks like one of my typical service calls, where the owner doesn't understand why the 15A fuse keeps blowing.

Re: Magazine Advertisement by HBO for "Six Feet Under&q

I saw a part of one of their episodes in which the "star of the show" (meaning the deceased) became the star by virtue of an electric shock received while taking a bath. I do not recall seeing the bathroom, so this might or might not have been it. But I'll give them credit for discouraging this type of installation by virtue of having used it to create a deceased star.

Yes it is a poor choice of colors ;)
Wonder if they check that gfci like every day ? think i would.
Stupid people die every day,sad part is another is born.

But.... is the receptacle in the footprint of the tub?
Looks code compliant to me. We can't prevent suicide.

Jim, they probably don't need to check the gfi. It probably isn't protected anyway!

charlie, i think this bathroom is from the same episode you are talking of, where a former movie starlet was taking a bath when her cat jumped up on that ledge & knocked a radio or something into the tub, electrocuting the starlet.
