Magnetic Phase Balancing????

I need an education on what a Magnetic Phase Balancing system is besides very expensive. From the report I have just seen it will lower reactive resonance, mitigate harmonics, increase power factor, improve power quality, absorb transient spikes all the while reducing the kW, KVA and amps on the order of a 26.4 month payback for a quarter million investment. The brand name in the report was a USES system. They referenced a recent (May 20. 2002) report in EC&M as a satisfied user.

Before I toss out everything I have learned in my life about what is possible in the world of electrophysics, I want to make sure that this is not something that has gotten by me.

Be extremely careful and do lots and lots of reading and tests .Many of our clients have been taken to the cleaners bigtime with this type of product.

I'm thinking that this is snake oil. I am not considering this at all but, a energy manager is pushing this for funding at another site.

Ask whoever is pushing this thng if the creator has won a Nobel Prize and is a multi-gazillionaire. If not, buyer beware!
