Main Bonding Jumper

Please refer to the diagram below. Is it acceptable for the main bonding jumper to be located at the utility company transformer? I see nothing wrong with the concept and it would be allowed by code if it were considered separately derived system. Since it is considered a service, does the main bonding jumper have to be located at the service disconnecting means?

Most utilities will not allow the equipment ground shown in your diagram to be in their equipment. They bond everything to the neutral, so the equipment ground would be a paralell path.

I agree, remove the EGC and you're OK since the neutral can be used for grounding on the line size of the service disconnect.
