Main Breaker?

I am feeding a 600amp 4 socket/4 disconnect meter base from a transformer, it has (3) 200 amp disconnects and (1) 100 amp disconnect in it.

Can I use a main lug meter base if I stay under the sum of the noncontinious loads and 125% of the continious load? as it says for the service conducors 230.42(A)(1)

or do I need a 600 amp main brkr?

The NEC will allow up to 6 disconnects before requiring a main. This is independent of the load being served.
