Does anyone know if Square D makes the yellow plastic lug covers for a 2 space 100 amp outdoor circuit breaker enclosure? QO2100BNRB is the one I’m looking for these for. Or, are there generic ones that would work in this situation to cover the service conductor terminations?

Thanks for any help!

Sd D has a great 800 phone number for tech support. You will need the model number and series number from the inside of the panel.

Last I heard a few months back, they do not make them for this enclosure. This was from a few different contractors and supply house that called them directly as I had been calling it out on inspections.

For anyone else looking, here’s what I found. Actually, I asked my inspector and he told me about them. He said they aren’t made by Square D but he’s kind of lenient because he figures if someone can’t work around 2 hit lugs, they shouldn’t be an electrician. lol. These are made by Eaton. I haven’t gotten them yet, but they look like they’ll work fine.

Those are the covers that came with this panel:

I’ve got a generator job right now that would have been a whole easier if they would have used a feed through panel, but no! They used a standard 3r MB loadcenter knowing that an automatic transferswitch was going to be added in the near future! And the house was their boss’s! I think the project manager cheaped out on them.

I don't think they have quite the required working clearances in front of those panels. 🤣
