Main service switchboard

I have 1600A main service switchboard 277/480V plans say manufacturer provided main bonding jumper per NEC 2014 section 250.24(1)(4), 250.28(c), 250.8(a)(7).

I thought if manufacturer provides the main bonding jumper it is installed in factory. Has anyone ever had to install manufacturer provided main bonding jumper?

It's not a major task.

Ours always come factory installed but installing it in the field wouldn't be difficult.

If I remember correctly larger Siemens panel boards don't come with it installed. It's an easy task, but at least with Siemens it can be a puzzle figuring out where the damn thing goes.
