Main supply conduit under slab /w disconnect inside basement?

Question regarding main supply for a house we're building?

Plan is to install a Dual 200 amp meter at corner of garage, next to garage doors.

Then run conduit under garage slab through basement foundation wall.

Then we'll have two 200 Amp panels with the disconnect right on the other side of the foundation wall.

Is this permisible? Thx

Sounds fine as long as the service entrance conductors are on the outside of the garage and within the concrete slab under a minimum of 2" of concrete. See 230.6.

It sounds like you have two services/feeders to a single structure? If this is the case look @ Art,230.2 & Art,225.30 - Only one service & or only one feeder to a structure unless the special conditions are met.

This sounds like an accurate call, if you wanted to use the full service for one structure you would need to have one disconnect and then two distribution panels.
It does seem odd that you can use a 400 amp meter main combo panel (on the outside of the building)that has 2 disconnects in it to feed the same structure. ?? So I guess I would check with the AHJ as to how they would call it.

The articles you quoted IMO allow this installation.

225.30 allows only one feeder after the service disconnecting means.
230.2, second sentence allows it.

225.30 would be if the garage and the house are separate structures. Sounds to me like the two are attached. A single structure can have more than one feeder within the structure.
