Maintenance disconnect for hot tub

I think in one of our previous topics, it was established that a maintenance disconnect for a hot tub cannot be a switch that operates a contactor, but I would like to confirm this.
Thanks

Re: Maintenance disconnect for hot tub

well yes, the disco within sight means the motor, which can be displaced from the tub itself

due to a fatality (are all codes written in blood?) where this was so, the advent of a E-stop within sight became code (see 680-41)
