years back we stumbled onto a maintenance contract for a firm that owned multiple highrise apartment buildings...for about two years we had 2 to 4 men onsite at least once or twice a week depending on their needs...we did mostly minor stuff, GFI's for kitchens and baths, change out ballasts, replace fixtures, repair and update emergency lights ETC....it worked out very well for our firm and would highly recommend this type of work if you can get it...for "security reasons" all contractors had to be escorted by a maintenance staff worker at all times...thus after two years just about all of the staff workers had witnessed and or helped with all the work we did at least a couple hundred times...slowly they took on the work themselves...they were not buying into the "need a LICENSED electrician mindset"...so out the door we went...i still get an occasional call but nothing will ever get as good as it once was...
