Man made creek

I am looking for answer,I hope that someone can help me. We had build water feature in our resort which is a creek. Local electrical inspector is asking for GFI protected circuit.I did search NEC and could not find anything which would lead me to man made creek. Only chapter mentioning man made features is 680-4 under fountains and reflectig pools.
The service we are providing is a three phase 460 volt/ 60 amps. Please help. Thank you George

The 2005 NEC will add a new article on man-made bodies of water. Right off I don't know the article number, I have the draft 2005 NEC at home. Even though the 2005 NEC is not available, the ROP and ROC will contain the information on the new article. See if your AHJ will accept the new article and if you go to the NFPA web site under NEC you can find the ROP and ROC, maybe some will have more information on it.

I believe that new Article will be 682. The only GFCI requirements in the draft for that article is for 15A and 20A , 125V receptacles being used by persons. There doesn't seem to have any equipment provisions?
