Lately everything I set out to install is missing the good old installation manual. Today I had 2 harmonic filters delivered. Opened one of them up to find a note claiming I could go to their website and download a copy. The filters were 12K each. Bought some metering equipment and the installation directions are on a mini disk. New Fluke test equipment mini disk. This really bugs me that we cant get printed instructions anymore.

The last generator I put in came with a mini DVD too. I really would have liked paperwork that is actually useful on the job.

I'm quite sure that the manufacturer thought you would have a DVD player in your van, you have everything else.

And you speak German.

Same thing here. My call was to a different time zone. Left message, called back 3 hours later and left another message.

as I sit here I've been on the phone with verizon for 20 minutes waiting for the well meaning guy to come back with an answer. I'm afraid to hang up and start over it took 10 minutes in voicemail hell to get to a human voice to begin with.
