We are rebuilding a small private marina after hurricane Irma. There will be 11 power pedestals serving 21 slips. The pedestals are on two feeders (220 v) with 5 pedestals on one feed and 6 pedestals on the other. Each pedestal contains circuit breakers for Boat lifts. These circuit breakers are not of a GFI type.
Each pedestal contains one dual receptacle which is of a GFI type. There is no shore to ship power.
The main feeds are 150 amp single phase circuits. It is my understanding that these main feeds must be GFCI protected. Do the circuit breakers to which the boat lifts are hardwired need to be GFI types also?
Thanks in advance
