Hello,

I have been drilling 4" holes through brick with a hammer drill and a 1" bit for longer than I would like to admit.
Does anyone have any personal preference for a good quality masonry core drill system? Is the spline system for the hammer drill a good option?

Thank you,

Yes we have 4 Hiltis, originally we started with hand held and now have the stand, with a vacuum attachment. They make a dry masonry bit, but with the OSHA silica dust requirements I would go with wet bits and a water tank. Just give your hilti rep a call and they will come by. Usually they can discount the products considerably

There are two brands of hammer-drill and hole-saw systems. Hilti, and everybody else!
