Does any one know if or when the state of Massachusetts is going to adopt the 2005 code, All the info I find on there web site references chapter 527 12.00 refering to the 2002 code. I occasionally do some work in Mass. and have been told they adopted it with amendments at the beginning of the year but haven't been able to find it on the web.

Thanks Stan

Re: Mass, electrical code.

Thanks Bob, I Ordered My 2005 loose leaf and handbook from Granite City Electric in Bennington VT. The loose leaf was suppose to have the amendments in it. I waited for almost 3 months before I finally got the books so after waiting that long I just kept them figuring I could get the amendments off line like you can in VT. I figured Granite City being a MA. based company that it wouldn't be a problem. I'm going to call the salesman monday and make him get them for me since I already paid once. I'll probably have to wait a few more months.

Thanks Stan

Re: Mass, electrical code.

You can get just the amendments from the Massachusetts Electrical Contractors Association for less than $10 including shipping.

It will probably be quicker than waiting for Granite City. :p

Re: Mass, electrical code.

This is not an Electrical Instructor topic, so I am moving it into a NEC discussion area. Please continue your discussion there. :)

Re: Mass, electrical code.

You can also buy the Mass amendments from the Mass statehouse bookstore for buck fifty plus postage.
