If you hire a Master of record for your shop. What are some ways for the electrician to protect himself from contractor who might not want to do things by code or just not do a good job. sometimes the electrician may not know the electrical contractor using his license is doing a bad job without his knowledge. Is there a type of insurance the master electrician can get to protect himself or ask the EC to get so they both can sleep at night?

Here in Texas the Master can only license one company unless he owns at least 51% of other companies.
Question is....why would HE put his confidence in you to do quality work when his butt is on the line?
HE carries the insurance in case YOU screw up
