Does anyone know of a county in Florida that still offers a master electricians non contractor license? As of last month St. Lucie County (along with the counties around me) eliminated theirs. I have been an electrician for over 25 years. I have no desire to open my own business but wish to be recognized as having the expertise and experience of a master electrician. I have taken the masters exam and passed. I now wish to get the license. Now what? Any help would be appreciated.

I guess the solution to this is to take the test, pass it, and then hold an inactive license.
