Depends on where you are and if you meet the required qualifications to sit for the exam.

Very good question!

Very good question!

I have interviewed for jobs where they look for JM or ME title. I hold neither one. I have been to interviews looking for college education. I hold none of that. Dad taught me first hand. Applying for maintenance jobs, that is no where good enough. So I tell them, test me on paper, test me on site. No good, they want the degree. I could of taken college courses, but learning Spanish and History has nothing to do with getting your multi-million $ machinery back online. When I get your machinery back online, are you going to test me about WWII?
This burns my *ss!

You have to have a Journeymans license for two years to be elegible to take the Masters in Miami-Dade County.
Take the State Exam!
