I talked to a guy from lower merion that gives the test out there and he said they don't give the journeyman's test anymore. Phila. doesn't either so I have to study for the masters. He said it's the 2002 edition if I take it before April and the 2005 if I take it after April. Did anyone take the master's exam in PA? Any tips or suggestions? Do you reccommend any books-- Tom Henry or Mike Holt???

Re: MASTER'S EXAM FOR PA.

To: mrbigcash,
I am an instructor at Delaware Technical & Community College, Stanton Campus in Newark, Delaware.
I have been teaching a course in the NEC and now I have been teaching mainly for electricians who are going to take the exam for their Masters License in the state of Delaware. I have been using Mike Holts training materials. Serena, of Mike's staff recommended that we use the text, "Electrical Exam Preparation".
The one thing that I know from experience, is that it is very beneficial to study with a group of electricians. Each class that I teach, I come away with a better knowledge of the Code.
