Masters license?

I currently hold an Unlimited Electrical Journeymans license in the state of Oklahoma, which carries the same description and requirements as most other states Masters license. However since it is not called a masters, i am denied a salary increase overseas. I was curious if there was any accredited documentation to support this or do I have to travel 10,000 miles to a state that calls their license a "master" and take the test?
Thanks for the help, and please advise if there is a better catogory to post this unde..

I would guess that depends on the agency that is denying you the salary increase. If they are willing to accept documentation establishing an "equivalent" level of certification, then you may be all set. However, only "they" will be able to answer that for you.

I do not think he is close to home at this time he said from overseas. Not sure where you but you may be able to take the test via proxy or if the testing agency has a way you may try to find out who administers the test and see if they have any ideas.

Im currently working in Afganistan, and they have already denied "equivilant to" documentation. Ill try the rest of the recprocating states and see what happens.. Thank for the input!

I was at the Arkansas Bureau of Electrical Examiners ... they have reciprocity with Oklahoma, so getting theirs ought not be an issue.

The catch is - you might have to wait until the next board meeting (January) for it to actually be issues. Perhaps they can set you up with a 'temporary' until then.
