Is there a web-based material pricing guide that is free or very inexpensive? I'm a oneman band and need something for occasional projects that require material outside my normal service work. Today it's 140' of 4" EMT and all the goodies to go with it.

I hate bugging my wholesaler for price requests like this.

Thank you.

We use trade service publications but for 140' of 4" emt I would still contact your supply house for pricing.

I know how you feel, but prices change all the time. Once you build a good relationship with a supplier, they won't mind your price requests. They know that you are running a business too, and that you need to relay prices to your customer. If you didn't get your prices, how would you bill/estimate? They know that... don't feel too bad. If they give you any attitude, go to another supply house.

My guess is, they don't want to lose any business anyway, so they will gladly put up with your price requests. Good luck.

I agree with spoon. I have only had my EC business open since June. Two of my supplyers call me and see if they can bring me something. They was the only two out of four that gave me credit too. So guess where I'm buying.
You need to get to know their outside salesman, that will help you alot.
