max conductors in metal raceway

I took Experior's test last week. One of the questions as best as I can remember.

What is the maximun amount of conductors permitted in a metal raceway?
(a) ? (b) ? (c) 45 (d) 60

I was so stressed that I might had missed something.

I don't remember answers a & b because they were less than mentioned in table 310.15(B)(2)(a)

I guessed (d) 60 but would like a code ref. or if this is based on some calculation.

I passed the test but still wonder about this question.

In Chapter 9 table C8 you can get 1405 type Z wires in 6" Rigid

marty: Are you sure it was not metal wireways, as in Article 376.

Bennie, good possiblity, but there was not mention of insulation type or size. Thanks for the answer.

Motodiva, if I would have thought to look at table 9 I would have read the question better.
