We installed a home stand-by generator using 4-#6 AWG wire. The generator is capable of producing a maximum of 62.5 Amp @ 240 Volts. One of the #6 wires was a ground. The wire was pulled through 1-1/4" rigid PVC pipe. Did we exceed the maximum conductor fill limitation? Is there anything special about stand-by generator wiring which gets around the max. fill limits or ????
