Is the ampacitie for mc determined by 310.15 for 10 gage wire.? The 330.80 syas 310.15 or 310.60 for 14 and larger but 310.60 seems only to pertain to higher voltage applications. The mc I use is all thhn thus a 10 awg should still be ok for 35 amps when used on 75 deg connections which most are nowadays in most industrial apanelboards I deal with. I had not seen the very large mc cables until just recent;y where they were used for feeders also. three phase systems and 2/0 wire. HEAVY AS H...

What about 240.4 (D). I'm sure that for industrial use most will fall under an exception. But this is still a good one to remember.
