392.9 is for cable tray fill requirements. 392.11 is for ampacity and derating of ampacity per NEC ampacity tables.

MC is a cable, isn't it? Also see Table 392.3(A).

With only 3 conductors in your MC, there is no derating for number of conductors. Only ampacity adjustment is for ambient and 110.14(C) termination temperature limitations as applicable.
