MC cable in spray insulation

I am on a jobsite where the exterior walls are being sprayed with polyurethane insulation. My question is. Can the MC cable be encapsulated with this sray foam?

It happens all the time. Also with NM cable. I would like to see the wiring done after the spray foam, but that ain't gonna happen.

Why not? They spray this stuff all over NM cable so I am sure mc would be fine. BTW, I hate that stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if some changes come about due to this in the next code cycle.

MC cable does not have ampacity issues in insulation.

Take a look at 320.80 and 334.80 in the '08 NEC. There are ampacity issues to deal with for these two types of cables.
