Hello,
I'm planning to use 6/3 MC cable for installing an EVSE in my attached garage. I'll run the MC from the EVSE down to the baseboard and along the wall. It will then need to pass through the drywall, a stud, and into the basement, where it will connect to the panel.
I believe I can run the MC cable directly into the drywall without any junction box, but I want it to look nice. Do you have any suggestions or guidelines for improving its appearance?
Would it be acceptable to run the MC inside EMT for a cleaner look? Or do you have any other recommendations? I’d prefer not to open up the drywall.
