Just curious as to how others would support. If you had a new construction space and had to get MC cables over to the blue box how would you supprt the cables above the hung ceiling if over 6'? I drew yellow lined to get semi visual.

I don't think the ceiling pencil rod would work for a Caddy type KX clip as that would be too late.

Can you get mulitple cables into one bridle ring? Do you usually need T-Rod dropped?
Multiple can go in. The MC types are bigger than the low volt type. If just a couple batwings are used on a t bar wire. If bridal ring is used either it needs to be on the framing members or on a 1/4in rod.

If using t bar wire they need to be for electrical only they can't use the ones for supporting the actual t bar grid but you can have extras shot in or screwed in for the electrical

He's referring to pencil rod so there will not be any T-bar wires.

Yes bridle rings come in many sizes up to 4". They can be attached directly to the slab or building steel (w/ beam clamp) without using threaded rod, although threaded rod is an option too.
