I am not sure if I should add this post as a new thread or add it to my thread on "Use of NM cable". I will let the moderators decide. In 334.15 exposed work NM shall follow the surface...... I understand. Article 330 for MC cable doesn't have this explaination for exposed work for MC cable. Does this mean that MC can run expose fron stud to stud. The reason I ask is that in the workbook there are idential pictures of framing one shows NM the other sbows MC cable both show cables following the surface of studs. I still talking about a detached garage with exposed walls.
