MC Cables

Need some help clarifying some things regarding mc cables .
1) how many mc cables can I run through a drywall penetration or concrete floor core between floors, I can’t seem to find any information.
2) how many mc cables can be supported from same ceiling wire of a suspended ceiling light.

#1 pick any fireproofing manufacturer such as 3M, Hilti, Metacaulk, etc..... and go to their website to view assemblies.

It's not exactly user friendly but maybe one of the others would be.

Note the OP is using the support wire to a fixture to support his MC (not a ceiling grid wire).
We have always allowed that.... is it not permissible ?
(I am addressing a single cable, not multiple but it would seem that if the support wire has adequate strength multiple MCs could be supported along with the fixture)

Note the OP is using the support wire to a fixture to support his MC (not a ceiling grid wire).

Agreed. You can put whatever you want on your own supports.
